During the Marcellus Midstream Conference & Exhibition in Pittsburgh this week, plans were officially announced for Chesapeake Energy and its partners to run a 12-inch diameter pipeline between Columbiana and Harrison counties to connect the northern and southern portions of the $900 million processing plant previously announced. It will add up to 200 miles of pipeline across Harrison, Jefferson, Columbiana, and Carroll counties. More after the jump...
We have previously reported on the announcement of the plant as well as the locations, with M3 Midstream's website containing a map indicating that the processing plant will be located near Hanoverton and the central storage hub near Scio. Other than revealing that the pipeline is officially part of the plans, there wasn't much more to come out of the conference related to the Columbiana processing plant, but the pipeline news certainly warranted a mention here on the blog.
